About modu Publishing

modu Publishing, founded in 2008, is the in-house publisher of Peembeck GmbH, based in Idar-Oberstein in Rhineland-Palatinate. After more than 20 years in the music industry, the decision was made to create a media company that makes our knowledge and experience available to the public.

‘modu’ stands for Modern Education. This is where the Peembeck GmbH writes down what it practices every day in its 80 music school branches. Accordingly, our publications deal with holistic learning and contemporary education,
child development and, of course, music and the music business.

We put a lot of emphasis on the fact that our authors not only have theoretical knowledge but also extensive practical experience in their field. Therefore, our authors are musicians, music teachers, educators and coaches.

We present our publications on these pages. Modu Publishing offers an extensive program for musical practice. Our teaching and learning books are supplemented by guides for parents, students and musicians as well as our music magazine Modern Music Mag, in which we take up current topics with relevance.
